B.J. Harris
Born in Nurnberg, Germany to a US Army family, B. J. lived all over the world before moving to the US Virgin Islands in 1979. Since forming St. John Properties in 1983, she has served her real estate colleagues as president of the St. John Board of Realtors three times, and president of the Virgin Islands Territorial Association of Realtors four times. She was the first chairman of the National Association of Realtors’ Resort and Second Home Committee and chaired the Small Board Sub-Forum. This year she is NAR Regional Vice President for the VI, Puerto Rico, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.
Fascinated by all aspects of real estate, B. J. particularly enjoys design and construction; helping buyers see the underlying potential in raw land and the opportunities to develop ecologically sustainable building designs. Her experience also includes the purchase and management of investment properties thereby offering full service to her clients.
