David Pullen
David Pullen, CIPS, CRS, DSI.
David has over 30 years of experience within the Mexican real estate industry.
He completed his initial real estate training in Toronto, Canada in the early 1980’s. David was a member of the Ontario Real Estate Board (OREA) as well as the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).
In the mid 1980’s David returned to University to study Business Administration and Marketing in his native country, South Africa. During the period of his studies he worked selling real estate in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
David eventually returned to Toronto where he was hired as a market Analyst for Coldwell Bankers Real Estate Affiliates of Canada. David was based out of Coldwell Bankers Corporate head office in Canada.
His primary function was to analyze existing real estate markets for which the company was deciding to enter into for the purpose of franchising existing real estate companies or starting up new real estate companies under the banner of Coldwell Banker in the targeted area.
After making a decision to do some extensive traveling he resigned from corporate life with Coldwell Banker. During his travels he arrived in Puerto Vallarta and became involved in the Mexican Real Estate industry in Puerto Vallarta at the end of 1989 beginning of 1990.
Since arriving in Mexico he helped build one of the most important real estate companies in Puerto Vallarta.
David Pullen Properties is his newest venture and is dedicated to providing outstanding service in the field of Luxury Real estate.
David holds the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations. He is also a Chapter member of the Mexican Branch of the Certified Commercial Investment Members Institute (CCIM) and is a member of Institute of Luxury Home Marketing.
David has completed numerous graduate real estate Diploma courses from the top Mexican Universities, related to all aspects of Mexican real estate.
He has also written numerous real estate articles related to coastal Mexican Real Estate for local, national and international magazines and has been invited to speak at many International Real Estate and Investment Symposiums all over the world.
David is considered nationally and internationally as an expert in all matters related to foreign real estate investment in the coastal areas of Mexico. He is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, AMPI-National and is a former International Advisory Board member of Luxury Portfolio and Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.
David recently completed his term of President of AMPI-Vallarta (Asociacion Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios, A.C) (Mexican Real Estate Board-Puerto Vallarta Section) and held this position for approximately 7 years.
In past years David also served as the Director of International Relations to the Mexican National Real Estate Board and also sat on the MLS technology panel and was in charge of the CRS designation for the national real estate board.
At present David sits on the Honours and Justice Committee for AMPI-Vallarta (Asociacion Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios, A.C) (Mexican Real Estate Board-Puerto Vallarta Section). David has a passion for luxury real estate and architecture and believes in providing outstanding real estate service to his clients.
