Dan Sight
Dan took a leap of faith 35 years ago, from the family automobile business into the real estate industry. He built his commercial real estate practice in the Kansas City area.
He owns Sight Commercial Realty, where he specializes in investment real estate ownership and sales, and buyer/tenant representation.
During his 35 years, Dan was the founder and CEO of Reece Commercial, the commercial division of Reece Nichols (a division of Home Services Corporation). Dan has both the CCIM and SIOR designations.
A commitment to real estate includes giving back to the industry. Dan made his way through local, state, region and national leadership positions at NAR and CCIM. He served as President of his local Johnson Board of REALTORS®, Kansas Association of REALTORS,® and NAR Region IX Vice-President.
He served as Commercial Liaison to the NAR President. He was also Chair of Realtors® Property Operations Committee (the building committee). This committee manages four NAR buildings in three cities (Chicago, Washington DC and Cincinnati), with investments valued at over $100 million dollars.
Dan was recently featured in an NAR documentary called Revenue Reserve - about commercial real estate investing.
Dan is a Missouri Tiger Alum with an accounting degree. He lives in old Leawood, with his wife Melynn, and his dog Twix. Melynn is a Nationally Renowned Real Estate Consultant and has worked with over 150 different Real Estate Associations.
