Chris McElroy
Chris has 40 years of experience in residential and investment real estate in Northern Colorado. He has extensive experience in real estate sales, development, property management, and as an instructor in real estate finance, investment and taxation. He managed and owned a regional real estate company, and a major national franchise. He was appointed in 2011 (and reappointed in 2014) by Governor Hickenlooper to be a Colorado Real Estate Commissioner and was the 2013-2014 Chairman of the Commission. Chris is Chairman of the Colorado Association of Realtors® Business Services (CARBS)and 2016 Chair of National Association of Realtors® State and Local Issues Committee. .
With a global economy Chris knows the importance of staying educated in the local, state, national and international markets. From interest rates to tax codes and statistical analysis, Chris is well-informed.
In June 2015, Chris cycled his 10th Colorado MS150 Bike Tour (150 miles in two days), to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. He is part of Team Colorado REALTORS®.
