Alexis obtained her Real Estate license in May 1978 and her Florida Broker’s license in 1980. She started as a new agent in 1978 and worked 39 years the same Real Estate Franchise prior to joining Keller Williams Realty Gulf Coast in July 2017.

Service to the Real Estate Community
During her 46 years as a member of the Pensacola Association of Realtors (PAR), Alexis has been a very active member.
Alexis has been a very strong mentor to hundreds of real estate agents both in the Pensacola Bay area and nationwide.
Alexis was one of the individuals responsible for PAR developing their own regional contracts and served as Chairman of
Contract task force for almost 20 years. She has served PAR as Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and as member of the Board of Directors. She also served as Chairman of the Professional Standards, Professional Development, By-Laws and Budget and Finance committees.
Other committees served on include Grievance, Professional Development, MLS, Strategic Planning, the Editorial Committee, Web site committee, Governmental Affairs and the Board of Tellers. Alexis served on the MLS task force to locate and secure a new Internet Based MLS vendor for PAR. She was one of the original members of the task force to develop an Instep Program for New Construction and taught the classes at the Home Builder’s Association for 10 years. Alexis was instrumental in putting together the “Getting Started Program” for new members at PAR and taught one or more of those modules for 12-14 years.
Alexis has served on the NAR Professional Standards Committee as well as the NAR Professional Development Committee. Alexis was involved in starting a new CRS Chapter in Pensacola, called The North Florida
CRS Chapter which was approved by the Residential Real Estate Council in November of 2007 as the 53rd CRS Chapter.
She served as the 2008 President as well as 2010 President of that chapter.
Alexis held Florida Instructors license and taught classes at Pensacola State College as well as for ERA School of Real Estate. She managed a ERA office in Gulf Breeze Florida and held a Florida Mortgage Broker’s license from 1981-1985.
Service to the Local Community Involvement:
Impact 100 Pensacola, Member of the Board of Trustees for Rebuild Northwest Florida Board of Trustees for the Pensacola Community Maritime Park, Appointed by Gov. Scott to serve on the Board of Directors for the Escambia County Early Learning Coalition Member of Board member of the Escambia County Marketing Advisory Council and the Culinary Advisory Council. Started the local Christmas for Seniors in 2008 and continues each year to raise donations for the Escambia Council on Aging needy Seniors.
Alexis is involved in various community activities such as Manna Food Bank, Muscular Dystrophy, Cancer Society, Covenant Hospice, Habitat for Humanity, Building the Community Play Ground in Pace, Friends of the Saenger Theatre, Chamber of Commerce, Impact 100 Member and was appointed to and served on the 2000 Census committee.
Alexis and her family established the Alexis Bolin Endowed Scholarship in memory of Rachel Barshafsky and Sonia Burchett at Pensacola State College. This scholarship goes to a child of a single parent or a single parent who is working towards improving their education.
Served as a Charter Member of Pace Rotary Club in 1994. Pace Rotary Club Board of Directors, Club Service Chairman, Editor of the Pace Rotary Club Newsletter and was named Rotarian of the Year for Pace Rotary.
Alexis is a current member of the Pensacola Downtown Rotary Club where she serves on a couple of committees. Pace Rotary honored Alexis by naming her a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow in 2002. She is also a Sustaining Member, a Benefactor as well as a member of the Bequest Society for The Rotary Foundation.

Alexis is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Sales Institute and was a State Certified Real Estate Instructor who taught the practices and principles classes for Pensacola Junior College as well as ERA Schools of Real Estate and completed the training to be a John Maxwell Certified Trainer.
Alexis has written several articles for Real Estate Today, TEAMERA Magazine, National Relocation Magazine, Florida Realtor, Pensacola Bay Area Realtor, Communications and The Residential Specialist for CRS. and Realtor Magazine as well as being quoted or featured in Florida Realtors, Real Trends and numerous national podcasts and webinars.

Personal Information
Born the Jersey shore in Long Branch, NJ. As a young child lived in a Hollow in Prestonsburg, KY. Later moved back to NJ graduated Red Bank High School, Alexis worked 18 years as a waitress. Fourteen of those years, were worked at the Officer’s Club at Fort Monmouth, NJ and another four years at Fort Gordon, GA prior to moving to the Gulf Breeze in the Pensacola area in November of 1977. During most of that time period Alexis was a single mother working three waitress jobs to support her children with no child support or alimony.
Alexis is married to Michael Bolin, originally from Belmont, NC. Michael has a BA Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He has a Florida Broker’s license and has his CRS and GRI designations. Michael is also a Rotarian and has served as Past President - Pace Rotary Club, Past Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 6940 and Past President of Combined Rotary Clubs of Greater Pensacola. Michael is a current member of the Cantonment Rotary Club serving on their Board of Directors. Michael is now a disabled Army Veteran who had a lung transplant due to exposure to Agent Orange during his service in Vietnam.

Daughter –Lisa Mix is a licensed Realtor- Associate for 30 years with the Alexis Bolin Group now with Keller Williams Realty Gulf Coast. She has a Nursing Degree from Pensacola State College. Lisa holds the following designations: ABR,AHWD, C2EX, GRI, CRS, and SRES. Lisa was honored as Realtor of the Year by the Pensacola Association of Realtors and was 2019 President of Pensacola Bay Area Women’s Council of Realtors.
Son – Dennis Mix has a BS Degree from Athens State College and an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology and is a chief financial officer for a software company. His wife Ann has a BS Degree from Athens State College, is an aerospace engineer and is the program manager for a NASA Contractor in Huntsville, AL.
Daughter/Niece– Marie Williams has a BA Degree from the University of West Florida. She is married to Stephen Williams, a Navy Chief who recently retired from the Navy Band. Stephen is an accomplished musician who plays with the Smithsonian Institute Orchestra and writes and arranges music.
Alexis has two Grandchildren and one Great Grandson:
Samantha Mix will graduate in 2023 with a BS in Nursing and lives in Huntsville, Alabama with parents Dennis and Ann Mix Jessica Mabe who is a Florida State Farm Insurance agent.
Great Grandson – Ryder, 4 years old, lives in Navarre, FL with parents Zach Mabe who is active duty Air Force and Jessica Mabe
