It is no surprise Costa Rica is an international eco-tourist destination, an ideal climate with a political and economical stability as well as a pristine tropical destination that places Costa Rica as a green country full of “pura vida” (pure life) as our people say. It also presents a rewarding opportunity for Ofelia - President, broker and owner of Costa Rica Sol First Realty - to showcase Costa Rica as an ideal investment location. Her company specializes in the sale and rental of commercial and residential properties  in the West Side of San Jose, the fastest growing area of the country and in the sale of large projects in different parts  of Costa Rica mainly in Guanacaste, the Northern Pacific Region and in San Jose, the capital.

Ofelia has been in the Real Estate business for more than 20 years with a particular focus and expertise as a Sales Director of major projects in Costa Rica as well as selling entire projects internationally. To continue to position Costa Rica globally, Ofelia actively participates amongst a selected group by NAR Global within the International Presidential Advisory Group (PAG) 2014 that actively discuss and position the best global opportunities for NAR members.

She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican Real Estate Association, CCCBR, for the last 4 years and the CCCBR Coordinator of International Relations. She participated in organizing the national and international FECEPAC Congress 2011 for the CCCBR and was the Director of the René Frank Award to the Excellence in Real Estate Nationally and Internationally in 2011. She is a member of NAR, FECEPAC, FIABCI and CIPS.

Ofelia graduated from Cardinal Cushing College in Business Administration in Brookline, Massachusetts, USA. She also graduated in Interior Design from La Salle University in Chicago, Illinois.  She speaks fluent English, Spanish. She spent 25 years out of Costa Rica and lived and visited many countries in the world giving her a well rounded education in the idiosyncrasies of each culture.
